Before you head out to buy something new, have you taken a moment to really explore what’s already in your wardrobe? In this episode, I’m diving into the power of shopping your own closet first—a mindful, sustainable, and confidence-building approach to personal style.

Each year, Australians purchase up to 56 new garments, and yet nearly 40% of our wardrobes often go unworn. That’s a huge opportunity to reimagine what we already own and get creative with what we have.

In this episode, I’ll cover:

  • Why shopping your own wardrobe can save you money, reduce overwhelm, and help the planet
  • How a wardrobe declutter and a few styling mindset shifts can bring your closet back to life
  • Tips to identify wardrobe gaps, so any future purchases are intentional and aligned with your style
  • How to get inspired and recreate new looks with what you already own
  • The role of organisation and outfit repeating in building confidence and refining your style

I’ll also share some of my favorite personal tips—like how I use hanger flipping to track what I’ve worn, why I love “no-spend” style challenges, and how styling your own wardrobe helps you strengthen your fashion intuition and personal style muscle over time.
