In the next 7 days, the creative industry is set to March to the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture. The march is said to outline the industry’s dissatisfaction with the Ministry and the unanswered questions regarding the Mzansi Gold Economy funding initiative.

According to the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture; the Mzansi Golden Economy strategy considers the arts, culture, and heritage sector as the “new gold” which has the potential to reposition the sector as the key market player in the country’s economic development.
