Aka Chocolate Papí aka TunGotJokes Twitter/IG/FB: @Tungotjokes Special Guest: @ShiestyAve On this episode of DAB, Tun sits down with a local Rap artist who is on the rise, as well as being a Los Angeles native who goes by the name of "Shiesty Ave". We first start off by him giving us a little background information on how he grew up as the youngest of 6 children coming up in Los Angeles. Shiesty talks about how he grew up with having his father very active in his life, and how from the beginning his father had a major influence on his life. He goes on to explain how when he was younger he was involved in football heavily and his mother got him into doing small roles in commercials due to his look as a child, and his mother having connections in the Entertainment industry. We later transition to talking about how it was his father who got him into music due to his father being heavily involved in music. Shiesty let us know that because of his Dad he was around Rap legends like Bone- Thugs and Harmony and Wu-Tang's Ol Dirty Bastard. We later discuss how things happen in his life that cause him to be involved in the street life, which he says it became difficult at times to focus on the rapping because so much was going on in his life and in the streets to the point where he ended up going to jail. But we then focus on how he has become a father and how his son changed his life, and gives him the motivation to grind and pursue what it is that he's passionate about, which is the music.
