Have you bought into this?

Are you constantly fighting against that pull of “I’ve got to tire myself out today”?

Here’s what this mentality robs you of.

  • It steals the joy of sitting down when you need a break (‘cause “you’re not done yet”).
  • It takes the end goal of “I did my work, now I get to rest” away from you (because the only rest you get is bed).
  • It robs you of every single ounce of enjoyment of your family, because hey – you’re supposed to serve till you drop, remember? (And it’s hard not to resent them for that.)

Mama, let’s do THIS instead and turn this whole (false!) cultural narrative around.
