Pray for our enemies? Really, God? Only with Holy Power and Presence can we understand His compassion for others, especially our enemies. When His Presence comes, we can truly release any obstacles to prayer with groanings and utterances too deep for words. In Matthew, John tells his disciples He who is coming after him is greater. and that He will baptize them with the Holy Spirit and Power. The threshing fork is in His hand. What did he mean by that? Well there needs to be a separation of the wheat and chaff, and in the context of prayer, only when our flesh is completely removed from the past experiences, can we truly have compassion in the Spirit on our enemies the way He does, and see them healed, delivered and set free. Before Jesus prayed, many times, the Bible says, He had compassion on them first. This is the doorway to seeing powerful miracles!
