On this edition of The Way with Anoa, Anoa talks with the mother of Mujtaba Al-Suweikat a young man arrested in Saudi Arabia after having attended a pro-democracy protest in 2012. Mujtaba was 17 at the time of his arrest. He is one of four arrested as a minor and sentenced to death, in violation of international human rights law. The legal process afforded Mujtaba from the trial by the secret court to his death sentence violates international human rights law. He was arrested while boarding a plane to visit Western Michigan University where he was to study Finance. Salam Marcos from Progressive Army provides translation for this important conversation between two mothers discussing the necessity of action to save the life of a cherished son.
