Wilson Muscadin has worked in the financial services industry for the last 15 years. During that time he noticed something that he couldn’t ignore anymore. The financial services industry is really good at helping wealthy people get wealthier but really bad at helping the average person build wealth from scratch. Many of our most important financial decisions are made before age 35, unfortunately, when people have the least amount of financial education and support. Wilson is passionate about righting that wrong through education and coaching because he believes that when people have a sound financial foundation, they are much more likely and able to pursue their passions wholeheartedly.

Wilson has an MBA from Duke University and is a financial coach, Certified Financial Education Instructor and Founder of The Money Speakeasy. But what he is most known for is taking the complexity and frustration out of money management and making it simple enough that anyone can understand it and modify their behavior to keep it!

In this episode, Wilson:

  • Demystifies the student loan cycle

  • Explains his debt payoff strategy that resulted in the elimination of over $100K in student loans in just 4 years

  • Equips you with the essential principles to develop the right mindset and lifestyle to stay on track so that you can hit your goal

  • Shares practical tips to help you manage your student loan debt effectively

  • Explains the wisdom and wealth advice he would you give his 21-year-old self about student loans

  • Shares practical advice for parents to consider to help prepare their family finances for college in order to minimize student loans

  • And so much more.
