In this week’s episode, we discuss a new bill that would require e-bikes to be licenses, registered, and insured as well as the legality of e-bikes in California.

We also discuss the subject of tariffs is once again at the forefront. The de minimis exemption, previously closed by the Trump administration, has been reopened. In contrast with US policy, the UK has revoked tariffs on e-bikes imported from China.

Additionally, we visit an e-bike-friendly trail system in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada.

As always, we dive into a variety of questions submitted by our readers and viewers. This weeks topics include recommendations for on- and off-road-capable e-bikes under $1k, and the torque sensor on the Aventon Aventure.2.
