The Isaiah House Project: Lessons in Dying and Compassion

Lauren Pomerantz is an Emmy-award winning film and television writer and producer. Her first feature film Am I Ok? can currently be seen on MAX after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival. Pomerantz wrote and produced the semi-autobiographical film based on her experience of coming out in her 30’s.

Pomerantz began her career as a writer for Saturday Night Live, for which she received an Emmy nomination. She served as head writer for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and during her tenure there won 17 Daytime Emmy Awards.

Other writing credits include the sitcoms Community and Me, Myself & I and the Apple animated series Strange Planet, on which she also served as Executive Producer. She is also the creator of Wooby & Fotty
