Whenever I visit a new city or a large town, I make a bee line for my nearest Irish Bar.
Not only do I enjoy a couple of pints of Guinness, but I immediately feel at home when I hear the soft, lilting tones of Dublin and Cork.
This story was inspired by an evening spent in an Irish bar in Barcelona.
The two guys were absolutely fascinating in so many ways. Their friendship went back years and once upon a time, they had everything.
