In Episode 7 of The Zesty Dietitian, I interview my amazing colleague, Reem Saed, MPH, RDN, IBCLC (she/her). We dive into how she decided to become a lactation consultant, common breastfeeding nutrition myths, breastfeeding stigma, common herbs for lactation, and racial disparities in breastfeeding. This episode is packed with info, and I’m excited for you to listen!

Reem is a registered dietitian and international board certified lactation consultant who runs her private practice Rooted Nutrition and Lactation in the Triangle, NC. Her goal is really simple: help mothers breastfeed. The problem is that in this day and age it isn't so simple anymore. She uses her education in nutrition, exercise science, public health and lactation to approach families in a holistic way to help them meet their feeding goals.
