Are you a people pleaser?

It’s a tough habit to break, but what if trying to be all things to all people is holding you back? What if the constant effort to please everyone is standing in the way of your success?

I learned a valuable lesson from my mentor, who once said, “You’re not ice cream, not everyone’s going to like you.” It’s a tough truth, but one that’s crucial for any business owner. As much as we want to help and connect with everyone, the reality is we can’t please everyone, and that’s perfectly okay.

In this week’s episode of the Thrive in Practice podcast, I dive into why embracing this mindset is so important for growing your practice and how trying to cater to everyone can lead to burnout and a lack of fulfilment.

By learning to focus on the clients who align with your values and approach, you’ll not only build stronger relationships but also attract the right people and stay true to what makes your practice unique.
