Creatives' Gallery - Found - November '23
In this episode, Scott is joined by Jarrett, Emily, and first-time guest Santos Torres to talk about our fifth Creatives’ Gallery event. The event featured Santos's fashion collection entitled “Found” and it took place on November 14th, 2023 at The Story Factory.
The episode begins with Emily sharing about her continued desire to explore multiple mediums for our Creatives’ Galleries and her decision to invite Santos to be featured as our first fashion designer.
The conversation continues by focusing on Santos's story of how first got started in fashion design and subsequently what led to his collection “Found.”
Near the halfway point of the episode we talk about some of the decisions Emily made in creating a fashion show feel for the event equipped with a runway and live models. We also talk about the run of the show and focus on the “Heart Behind the Art” interview.
As we wrap up the episode we talk a lot about Ripe’s culture of generosity and how the team comes together to serve artists in our city in practical and equitable ways.
