Amped - October '24
In this episode, Scott is joined by first-time guests Mike Montgomery and Jordan Duenas to discuss the “Amped” youth event hosted by Arrundel Christian Church in Southern Maryland. Mike Montgomery, the church's youth pastor, booked Ripe Worship for the event, which took place on Sunday, October 27th, 2024.
After the guests' introductions, the episode begins with Scott and Mike sharing their near fifteen-year history as friends in ministry. The conversation leads to Mike’s new role at Arrundel and how the booking for Ripe Worship came about in mid-September, just over a month later, after a last-minute change.
Towards the middle of the episode, the trio talks about the night of the event including the pre-show & post-show happenings. Throughout the convo, Mike & Jordan talk extensively about ways they saw God was moving through the event as a whole with a specific focus on Ripe Worship’s sets throughout the experience.
