From law graduate to presenter of the legendary Play School to running the remarkable charity Mama Biashara, working with Kenyan women who face extreme poverty, could there be a better person to ramble with other than this weeks Guest President…Kate Copstick!

Join us for a ramble as guest President Manning leads us on a ramble through three special destinations (stopping briefly at the Top Of The Pops studio) chosen entirely at random with the use of Tony’s enchanted bingo machine. As ever, the omniscient voice of Sir Stephen Fry is on hand to keep a hand on the recliner of ridiculousness!

First stop is destination number 372: Elementary Education. Well you would be right to assume that a former presenter of Play School has some strong views on this subject…though maybe not the ones you would expect!

After that number 625 awaits- Engineering Of Railroads. Where will thoughts of trains lead our team? To Kenya, is the answer, as Kate tells all about her remarkable charity Mama Biashara. You can find out more by following the links below…

Number 722 is our final destination- English Drama. A subject you would imagine would cause no consternation for our ramblers. Well…

After all that it’s time to head back down the garden path to Tony’s shed, to relax after what is a very interesting ramble.

Tony Slattery’s Rambling Club is a free-associating conversation, involving very special guests. It drops every Friday on every podcasting outlet known to man. We’d love it if you came along for the walk. If nothing else, it’ll help you get your steps in!
