Today, we welcome Zakk Colburn to the podcast.

He is the founder of PTBI. They help fitness coaches ultimately build out amazing fitness coaching businesses online.

Zakk started off his business ventures very early as he got his first job in high school which made him think ‘how can I make money quicker?!’ After several failed attempts, his friend suggested making an online coaching company.

At that moment, Zak decided that he was going to go all in, and that was how his journey started on how to scale a coaching business and how to grow it.

His main aim was to quit his job and after a slow burn, he managed to scale to $10k.

In our podcast we dive into:

  • How to get noticed in the industry

  • The importance of confidence in delivering results and marketing oneself as a coach

  • The parallels between software sales and coaching in terms of belief in one's product or service.

  • The mental challenges faced when starting and scaling a coaching business, including fear of judgment and insecurity

  • Why networking with people is essential for making connections and getting more clients into coaching programs.
