... and we found it! With winter road trips to Big D and Tulsa we hit the jackpot of both new and familiar music presented in small venues. In Dallas we hit the Kessler Theater and Poor David's Pub, then in Tulsa we concentrated on even smaller venues and realized this was just like Austin about 50 years ago, you couldn't fall down without landing in a lounge with some great music. Tulsa also is the home of the Bob Dylan and Woodie Guthrie Centers along with Leon Russell's Church Studio, three important stops on any music trek.
