Aldous Huxley—the legendary British philosopher, writer, and visionary—spent his life exploring the mysteries of human consciousness. But what many don’t know is that his final moments on Earth were spent under the influence of LSD.
On November 22, 1963, as the world focused on JFK’s assassination, Huxley lay on his deathbed, receiving 200 micrograms of LSD at his request. Was this his final journey into the unknown? Did he achieve the enlightenment he had long sought?
