Amethyst Killian, a 22-year-old pregnant sex worker, was brutally stabbed to death in Missouri while on her way to a gas station during an early Thanksgiving morning.
She had arranged to meet Damion Delgado, a 27-year-old man she had connected with through an online app, for consensual sexual activity.
Tragically, Amethyst suffered over 20 stab wounds leading to the loss of her unborn child. Delgado has been charged with her murder, though the motive behind this targeted act of violence remains undisclosed.
