Two college girls – Mared Malarik and Karen Ferrell – out for a casual night, off to see a movie, decided to hitchike a ride back to their college campus, never to be seen alive again. Eighty-eight days after their disappearance, the bodies of both girls were found, but the trail went cold. Years later, a man confessed to the crimes and was convicted of murder, but was he truly the responsible party? Or does Mared and Karen’s murderer still walk free?

Welcome to True Crime, Tea, and Tangents! A podcast where two sisters sip some hot tea, and talk true crime, parenting, finances, fitness, and whatever other tangents find their way out of our brains and into our mouths!
