Oftentimes, ill-informed Christians will attack King James Only believers by asking: Which KJV are you reading- the 1611 or 1769? Suggesting there are significant differences, when there aren't.
In reality, they should be asking themselves: "Which NIV am I reading? ...The 1984 or 2011?"
Or... "Which NASB am I reading? ...The 1995 or 2020?"
Little do they know, the Bibles they advocate for have changed with great severity. From Genesis to Revelation.
The King James Version is the rock of English Bibles. It has not changed, and unlike modern versions, the KJB has been believed to be the perfect inspired word of God by English speakers for well over 200 years, as Joey demonstrates with the research contained in his book "The Word: God Will Keep It! The 400 Year History of the King James Bible Only Movement"

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Psalm 11:3
Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. Jeremiah 2:12-13
The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? Jeremiah 23:28-29
