Britfield and the Lost Crown by C. R. Stewart is a perfect mixture of fast-paced excitement, heart-stopping surprises, fascinating history, and endearing characters. I loved all the historical references scattered along the way; they added to the realism of the story and had me stopping and researching a few things myself.
