DEATH GUARD Faction Reaction | Warhammer 40k Codex Review

*Cough, Death Guard time, Cough*
Next up in this Year of Chaos is our Trust the Process reaction and review for the Warhammer 40K 10th Edition Codex: Death Guard.
These smelliest of Astartes are the sons of Mortarion and Nurgle's plague-bringers. The Death Guard are an unmovable wall—perhaps the sturdiest of forces you could bring to the Warhammer tabletop. Their playstyle combines toughness with a slew of aura abilities designed to weaken their foes, and the codex offers many ways to defeat their enfeebled opposition.
Joshy, Jonny, and friend of the channel Zac sit down for a long while to talk about the faction’s models, their army rule, and their numerous detachments—such as the Virulent and Shamblerot Vectoriums—and try really hard to summarise the Crusade narrative rules. Further, we each offer a competitive list that, if starting an army, we would collect and play.

TTP Field Manual is brought to you by Joshy and Jonny, best friends and gaming enthusiasts from their local group, Trust the Process Hobbies. Die-hard fans of tabletop gaming, we use this podcast as a platform to share our passionate (and somewhat humorous) ramblings in and around the hobby (though, we cannot seem to shut up about Warhammer).
By day, Joshy is a therapist; by night, he's an RPG aficionado who grew up on (not-so) Final Fantasies and crafting his own Dungeons & Dragons worlds. Jonny, a technician, spends his downtime conquering more video games than Joshy can keep track of.
