Angels, Spirit Guides and Those From Other Realms.
This is our eighth podcast and the topic is Angels, Spirit Guides and earth-based practices. We will speak about why it is important to each of us, our families and friends and how to cope and enjoy the Holidays. We will share practices and processes you can use in daily life at home, work and play. Grab a pen and paper and get ready. Settle into your body, listen and see what you can use in your life.
The Holly and The Ivy' first appeared in print in the early 19th century, when it was mentioned in William Hone's 1823 book, Ancient Mysteries Described. But its origins lie much longer ago. People have been decorating their houses with holly and ivy since the medieval times and it has long been associated with the celebration of the winter solstice, as well as Christmas. The Holly and Ivy are both still green in the depths of winter and represent eternal life and the coming rebirth of spring in the midst of winter’s darkness. Stories of babe’s born in winter’s darkness are very very old predating Christianity, going back thousands of years.
