SEASONAL CHANGES and how we adapt and embrace them.
Manage episode 432318357 series 3590926
Since our last podcast on Spring Tonics and Rituals, I used the ritual broom clearing in my home since the last podcast and it makes a difference! Chat about that. Open windows, etc. If you wish, you may end the purification with a short statement, such as: “Bright and strong flows the energy through my home. This room is purified.”
Reminder of other ways to clear your space - Smudge and Spritzers too! Betty your favorites – at night Frankincense – Day is Sage or Sweet Grass spritzer. One sentence on what a spritzer is…..
Nettle tea – tonic herb for Spring allergies – slightly astringent properties, deeply nourishing filled with many beneficial minerals and green goodness.
Seasonal changes – spring cleaning/clearing – gifting and the give away – instead of throwing things away – consider the giveaway/ Native traditions.
Meaningful gifts – why is symbolism is important to us? Snake and the symbolism of change and transformation. Symbolism is important to both of us – mine is my personal altar – Betty and the Burden Basket – Betty and her clients – personal ritual for Betty and she incorporates it into her healing practice – and her clients can participate in this ritual.
When I teach I build an healing altar which becomes a focal point filled with symbolic objects for the subject of the class . for example I recently taught a class on Aphrodite, goddess of love and fertility who governs the waters of life – on her altar I have a lovely large Conch shell which was my grandmothers; I have a Scallop shell, and a lovely crystal cluster, a beautiful vase in the Grecian style with a woman in a flowing gown and an anointing oil.
Remember, wisdom knows no age, and our crones are here to inspire and empower you on your personal journey to well-being. Subscribe now to "Two Crones and A Microphone" and embark on a transformative journey towards inner healing and spiritual growth.
