On January 1, 1970 nurse Doreen Kendall saw a UFO hovering just 60 feet from her third floor window at the Cowichan District Hospital. She saw two humanoid figures through a clear dome on the UFO. At one point both of the figures were looking back at her. Several other nurses saw the UFO also and back up Kendall's sighting. RCMP Sgt. R. P.
