On July 20, 1975, 24 year old Janis Sanders vanished without a trace, after clocking out of her shift at a local restaurant in Niles, Michigan. Nearly 50 years later a group of high school Investigative Journalism students dive deep into her cold case, uncovering disturbing details, lost connections and new questions. In this first episode we take you through the beginning of our journey: how we found Janis' story, why we chose to tell it, and what we've uncovered so far.
