Based on the iconic, Emmy-nominated series on A&E, this show explores some of the most difficult-to-solve murders, which stymied investigators and went cold, sometimes for decades. "At this point, I just want closure for the family... I just want to be able to bury my friend."
When 36-year-old Chip Campbell vanished from his Florida home in 2016, his life was already spiraling out of control. His house was found in disarray, his dog left outside, and his personal belongings scattered. Days later, he was last seen at a local gas station, looking disheveled and carrying backpacks that would later be recovered under mysterious circumstances.
With ties to substance abuse, suspicious activity at his home, and a roommate with a criminal history, Chip's disappearance raises more questions than answers. Was he trying to escape his troubles, or did something more sinister happen?
This is a re-release of a 2017 episode, which features interviews with Chip's sister Lesa Kissoon as well as his friend John Claudio.
