As a business coach with over 13 years' experience (and a fair few hard lessons along the way), I’ve seen it all — the “proven formulas,” the overpriced programs, and the subtle ways some coaches make you feel like you’re the problem. In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain and having an honest conversation about what coaching should actually be, how to spot the red flags, and why not everyone needs a coach (really!).
We’ll talk about the real difference between coaching, mentoring, consulting, and teaching — and how so many so-called coaches are actually just selling cookie-cutter solutions. I’ll share the signs that you might benefit from coaching, the questions to ask before investing in anyone, and how to choose someone whose values truly align with yours.
This isn’t a pitch — it’s a permission slip to make informed, empowered decisions about the kind of support you really need in business… or whether you need it at all.
💡 A good coach won’t fix you — they’ll help you see that you were never broken to begin with.
