In January 2002, college student Rachel Louise Cooke disappeared during her morning run in Georgetown, Texas—just 200 yards from her parents' front door. What began as a peaceful winter break spiraled into one of Texas’s longest-running and most frustrating missing persons cases. Over the next two decades, investigators pursued leads involving suspicious vehicles, persons of interest, false confessions, and a white Trans Am that once seemed to hold the answers. In this episode of Until the End of Crime, Cameron and Hayden examine the Cooke family’s tireless search for Rachel, the case’s many twists, and the haunting question: how can someone disappear so completely, and stay missing for this long?
