Political parties continue to react to the reversal of a 0.5 VAT increase that was announced by the National Treasury earlier today. The ANC, together with several other parties which include the IFP, ActionSA, the PAC, the GOOD Party are currently engaging with members of the media in Sandton, North of Johannesburg. The group, which in includes members of the Government of National Unity say the VAT increase withdrawal is a victory for all parties which were engaged in critical discussions over the last few weeks. ANC secretary general, Fikila Mbalula says the terrain of coalitions and a Government of unity continue to be a lesson for the ANC.
