Manchester City have had a poor season by their very high standards. The Etihad Stadium club which is used to winning everything have struggled despite their recent successes under legendary manager Pep Guardiola.

However they have one trophy they can win. One final chance. One opportunity to avoid the unthinkable trophyless season which City fans have long forgot.

In the way is Andoni Iraola and AFC Bournemouth who have had a remarkable season with European football possible at the end of the season. Evanilson has been a sharp shooter, Dean Huijsen has been solid at the back and Justin Kluivert and Ryan Christie have been in command of the turf in the middle.

But no one can forget what the big bad Erling Haaland can do to wreck things.

We welcomed on Amos Murphy from the fantastic The City Ramble for a chat to discuss the season, Pep, next year and what a trophy could do this term despite their difficulties.
