Southampton fans have largely accepted their fate as the season gets closer to its conclusion. Most accepted relegation was not a possibility but a formality in December. But here we are, with our local rivals who some Cherries fans like to "love to hate but miss them when they disappear" facing relegation straight on in the face.
Saints have a measly 9 points and dread breaking Derby County's 11 points reached in 2007/08 in what most say was the worst ever Premier League side.
So are Southampton contenders for the list you don't want to be on?
Actually, our guest and good friend, Alex Le Tissier doesn't think so. Alex explains why she doesn't believe it to be the case and who she really blames for the failings at St Mary's.
Alex also talks about AFC Bournemouth and what she makes of the Cherries rise and if there is such a gulf between the Premier League and the Championship and why she isn't too fussed about the Saints dropping into the second tier.
