Three members of the Air Force: Joy Metzler, Juan Betancourt and Larry Hebert join us to discuss why, after joining the military with good intentions, they decided enough was enough and are pursuing Conscientious Objector Discharges. They relate what was the tipping point for them that pushed them over the edge. They discuss the disillusionment and possible betrayal by the military. They relate how helpful Veterans for Peace has been in their efforts. They also discuss what they are telling young people considering the military.
