In this episode, we speak with Dr. Ingrid Wicker McCree, Director of Athletics, North Carolina Central University, Durham, NC.
Dr. McCree's journey started as a student-athlete to now an Athletic Director for a D1 program. And as you'll hear, the road was not easy, sometimes not even paved at all but Dr. McCree was able to persevere and she will teach you how to as well.
Ingrid Wicker McCree, Ed.D. has made a significant impact academically and athletically at North Carolina Central University since her leadership appointment as Director of Athletics on May 1, 2008. Bringing countless accolades to the sports program as well as go from a Division II ranking to a Division I! Dr. Mcree is not only a Hall of Famer for her former university, she is also a CIAA Hall of Fame for volleyball and softball coach.
