In 1999, Wade Boggs clobbered his three-thousandth hit over the right field wall in Tropicana Field. It was a feat only two dozen men had done before, but somehow, his was still the first of its kind. This week, Wade Boggs, the Devil Rays, and baseball in Tampa.
