Next up in our Walk The Talk – Lessons from Leaders series, we talk with Gemma Bullivant, a specialist in grief coaching and training, helping individuals to positively address and recover from all forms of traumatic change and loss, including bereavement, redundancy and divorce.

In this conversation, we navigate the subject of grief, in a bid to break down the stigma that surrounds the subject and help those struggling with their own grief and those around them to support themselves and each other with more compassion, greater understanding and awareness.

Before you listen, it’s important to acknowledge upfront that this is an emotive subject that we will be discussing, so, please take care throughout and after.

If you do need to speak to someone, you can call the Cruse Helpline on 0808 808 1677 for grief support right now.

And if you would like to speak to someone at POINT3, we are all Mental Health First Aiders and Nicky and Sarah are trained instructors too. Contact the team here.

Grief and bereavement present enormous emotional and practical challenges for people in the workplace. The bereaved often feel alone and isolated. Talking openly with others is a way to help process the grief but it also helps others understand what people are going through, so they can be more supportive.

As always, we encourage you to listen while you walk and we do the talking.
