Palm Sunday is a day to remember. It is the day the Church celebrates Jesus being acknowledged as the Messiah, riding on a donkey into the city of Jerusalem. Crowds laid down palm branches and cloaks in his path signifying honor and royalty. It marks the beginning of what Christians call "Holy Week".

What's amazing is that on Palm Sunday, the people were crying "Hosanna, Hosanna" which means "Blessed is He who is to come and comes in the name of the Lord God!". But the following week they were shouting "Crucify Him".

Palm Sunday and Holy Week highlight Jesus' humility, his willingness to endure immense suffering and ultimately sacrifice himself on the cross to atone for the sins of humanity, and his glorious resurrection which signifies victory over sin and death.

Some frequently asked questions about Palm Sunday are:

1. Why is Palm Sunday a significant day for Christians?

2. Why did Jesus choose to ride a donkey into Jerusalem?

3. What is the meaning behind the use of palm branches on Palm Sunday?

In this episode, we address these questions as well as share the central message about God's relationship with humanity, conveyed through these reflections on Palm Sunday and Holy Week.
