We continue our Gratitudes & Falling Forward Series with Steve Schloss joining us for an enlightening conversation about how we can turn either receiving or giving a “no” into an important learning experience. Learning from these Falling Forward moments can guide us to develop better business and personal relationships.
An accomplished business leader, chief people officer, and graduate faculty turned coach and trusted advisor. In early 2020, he founded ListenForward, a coaching and advisory practice dedicated to helping C-level executives and teams strengthen individual and collective performance, deliver sustained results, and make a positive impact with and for the people they lead and the customers and communities they serve.
Through it all, he brings unique perspectives and insights from three and half decade's worth of leadership lessons having successfully built, grown, and transformed organizations across sports, technology, media, and finance.
(4:17) What comes to mind when Steve thinks of Gratitude?
(7:40) Steve shares with us one of his Fall Forward moment from 2022.
(10:38) How does he take these experiences and share them as “lessons” for others? He shares how the power of the word “no” does not have to be the end of the conversation.
