In this episode, we look at one of the most important skills a person can develop when diving into the world of Woo-Woo: discernment. Mirriam-Webster defines discernment as "the quality of being able to comprehend what is obscure." An easier way to say it may be "learning the difference between choosing love over fear".

It is often easy to ignore one's discernment at the beginning of a person's spiritual journey when he or she is experiencing the "buzz" and spiritual high that shifting one's personal vibrations brings. It feels so good that we keep looking for the next spiritual high without taking the time to fully learn from our previous lessons.

The good news is that most of us come back down to earth and start to realize that we need to use our discernment all the time once we are spiritually aware. We begin to trust ourselves to make better and better choices.

For example, because of the way some friends and family members have been raised, they might not be as excited about your deep dive into spirituality as you are so you will have to learn to use your intuition to discern when to share your newfound insights and when it is more prudent to wait.

You will also need to use your discernment when listening to spiritual teachers, gurus, and channelers to decide whether what they are saying really resonates with you at a deep soul level or whether what they are saying sounds "too good to be true".

Join Lola, Amaral, and Pamela as we discuss this important spiritual topic and our experiences using (and also failing to use) our best discernment.
