On this final day of our Lenten journey, we celebrate the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28 unfolds the most transformative event in human history—the empty tomb. With historical depth and sacred awe, we reflect on the angelic declaration, the courage of the women at the tomb, and the commissioning power of the risen Savior. The resurrection is not the end of the story—it is the launching point of our call to go, make disciples, and live as resurrection people. He is risen, just as He said.

In This Episode:

  • Historical context of burial practices and Roman security

  • The role of women as first witnesses

  • Fulfillment of prophecy and the theology of resurrection

  • Jesus’ Great Commission to the disciples—and to us

  • A heartfelt prayer of praise for the risen Lord

Mentioned Scripture:

  • Matthew 28 (entire chapter)

  • Isaiah 53:9 (Messianic prophecy)

  • 1 Corinthians 15:45 (Christ as the second Adam)

  • Matthew 16:21, 17:23, 20:19 (Jesus predicts His resurrection
