Today’s West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy Podcast for our especially special daily special, Tarrytown Chowder Tuesday is now available on the Spreaker Player!
Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, a federal court has blocked GOP efforts to overturn the North Carolina supreme court election and ordered the state to certify Democratic Justice Allison Riggs’ victory.
Then, on the rest of the menu, Pam Bondi’s Department of Justice plans to investigate the prosecutor’s office in Minnesota’s most populous county for using racial disparities in plea deals; a coalition of seventeen state attorneys general filed a lawsuit against Trump’s attempt to stop approved wind energy development around the country; and, Trump’s federal government is targeting its disabled workers for mass firings.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Spain’s government approved a bill that reduces the workweek from forty to thirty-seven and half hours; and, most of the one hundred rhinos killed in South Africa this year were poached from national parks.
All that and more, on West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy with Chef de Cuisine Justice Putnam.

“As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.” -- Ernest Hemingway "A Moveable Feast"
