Hello, and Welcome to the What If: South is Up? The podcast where we invite you along with us as we learn to wing it like an author. We are Derrick Hall and C. X. Lefebvre - Two new-to-the-game fantasy authors taking our first steps into the great unknown of creating worlds from scratch.
We add a new segment this week entitled 'Darlings: Dead or Alive' in which we each share a favorite line that we have written, but are allowed no explanation or context.
In our game of What if? we ask 'What if the continents were actually the exposed backs of giant creatures?' -- A scenario that raises more questions than it answers.
Special for this episode, we are holding a flash fiction contest. Write a piece of flash fiction (1000 words or less) related to this week's What If? topic and send it to us. We'll pick a winner from the submissions to invite on the show where you can read your submission and share your projects with the world as well as join us in playing What If?.
