This episode has been brought to us by a co-worker of mine name Camille. Traditional Feminist "The Big Three". In this episode I am sure we will have many different opinions. However let me get this out first. Many people have told me I have an unorthodox way of thinking. Including but not limited to my chess game. Now that, that's on the table here is my thoughts (listen to this episode)....
Ever wondered why the term 'men' has historically referred to both genders or does it? Does this subtle language nuance impact our perception of equality? In our enlightening discussion, we dive into the complexities of feminism and equal rights, affirming that our society is indeed ready for a woman to hold the highest position in the country. We touch upon work equality and how it manifests in different industries such as construction, and discuss how women can play a decisive role in modifying key legal documents like the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.
Did you know that the interpretation of the phrase 'all men are created equal' has varied over the years, oftentimes being used to justify oppression and drive change? Let's delve into this and more, as we unpack the topic of abortion and women's rights. We take you through the different stages of pregnancy, the legal implications of a woman's decision to have an abortion and how a woman in power can effect such changes. We conclude with an engaging discussion on the importance of embracing our differences to create a more equitable society. Tune in for a fresh perspective and deeper understanding of feminism and women's rights.
