In just over a month, the ghouls, witches and demons shall rise up to wreak havoc as All Hallow’s Eve befalls us once more, and what better way to celebrate the festival of darkness than by watching scary movies?
This week, we watched Poltergeist, a Toe Pooper film, not at all directed by Steven Spielberg. And those skeletons in the pool aren’t real in the slightest.
Through a haze of fatigue (and a rather sudden expulsion of bodily gas during VFX Cavalcade), we trudged through this episode until we dragged ourselves, crawling, defeated, hoarse and ripping our own faces off, over the finish line. The episode was then edited over several days in order to make it seem like we acquitted ourselves with the utmost professionalism and composure.
Our efforts may have failed.
