82. Overcome and Flourish - Tate Barkley
Manage episode 386726985 series 2872249
Throughout our lives, we are exposed to countless outside influences. Family - in particular our parents. Geography and local culture. Economics and financial status. How we incorporate these experiences into our lives…how we choose to react, behave, engage with others…is up to us.
Michael “Tate” Barkley allowed those factors - in particular, his relationship with his father - to lead him down a path of self-destruction, shame, guilt, and regret.
But with time, comes experience, perspective, self-reflection, and the opportunity to change and evolve to a greater version of ourselves. Listen as Tate addresses the impact of his life’s challenges, his decisions, and their impact, and how he ultimately was able to overcome them and flourish.
