Knowledge and Preparation will help build back the confidence you’ll need to get through this process.
· Since you’ve heard that the Feds have been asking questions, their case against you is mostly complete, approaching a 98% Conviction Rate.
· Hiring a legal team doesn’t just mean they have experience; they also need a proven track record of successfully defending cases like yours.
It is crucial to thoroughly review your Presentence Report (PSR) before your sentencing hearing to ensure that all the facts are presented accurately.
· If you find any misrepresentations of facts, you must catch them and request that the Probation Officer (PO) correct or add the new content before your hearing.
· Inaccuracies in the PSR can significantly impact the outcome of a sentence and eventual placement and will follow you forever.

· Your clients’ PSR is an essential document that gives the court a detailed overview of their criminal history,

· The INDICTMENT is the government narrative or you, and if you do not speak up for yourself, the four corners of that document will surely sentence you.

· If you weren’t the “ringleader” or the person giving orders, verify that; otherwise, your security level will likely increase.
· Judges know that crimes Do Not Happen in A Vacuum. Therefore, your NARRATIVE is your one opportunity to explain what happened in your life without making excuses for what you did.
It is important to note that your PSR includes your narrative, which provides additional context and details to ensure that your PSR accurately reflects your circumstances and mitigating factors.
· Your client's NARRATIVE should include information about their role in the nature and circumstance of the offense and their personal history and characteristics under 18 U.S. Code § 3553.
· Attaching their NARRATIVE and weaving the applicable parts into their PSR (as well as inserting it as an attachment) is the only way to ensure that it becomes a permanent part of your file.
