In this episode, I’m sharing my personal struggles with recurring emotional patterns and mindsets—things like shame, anger, and numbness—that kept showing up in my life. I spent so much time trying to manage these emotions and fix my behavior, but I couldn’t understand why they kept resurfacing.

What I didn’t realize is that these emotional patterns were being driven by hidden, unhealed roots—beliefs, wounds, and mindsets I had never addressed. We’ll talk about why recognizing these roots is essential to healing and how naming what’s underneath your emotions is the first step toward freedom. I’ll guide you through some tools to help you start identifying these hidden roots so you can begin to heal them with compassion, not shame.

Take 10 minutes today to reflect and journal on these questions:

  • What am I feeling? (Name the specific emotion.)

  • What thoughts are behind that emotion?

  • Where have I felt this before? (How old was I? What memories come up?)

Don’t try to fix it—just notice it. This is about awareness and uncovering the roots so that healing can begin.
