When crisis strikes and we’re startled or scared, it’s a very natural human response to forget everything we’ve learned to do in such scenarios, and to freeze instead. Then, in the aftermath, we can be so hard on ourselves — about how we ought to have acted, and how quickly we ought to “return to normal”. In today's episode we propose a compassionate approach instead, and taking your time to feel and integrate scary experiences.

"Like finding gold." - Alma W.

"The best therapy I've ever done for myself." - Sanjeev B.
