Kristin invites you to step into an encounter with Jesus, sitting with the truth of James 4. This chapter calls us to humble ourselves before God, to acknowledge the weight of our hearts and our need for his grace.
James 4 reminds us that when we draw near to God, he draws near to us. In this moment, you don’t need to have everything figured out—you simply need to come close.
Take a deep breath. Close your eyes. Imagine standing in a heavenly courtroom, with Jesus beside you, not as a judge, but as your defense, ready to wipe your sins away. In this encounter, surrender all that you’re carrying—pride, guilt, or anything keeping you distant from him.
As you sit with the Holy Spirit, ask Him to search your heart. What do you need to let go of? What’s keeping you from experiencing the fullness of God’s grace? Don’t wait for it to explode later. In this space, allow Him to reveal it to you and offer it up, knowing that He will meet you with forgiveness, humility, and peace.
